(Juni's all like "Mama- have you written your blog post this week?!")
It's cray-cray because I actually really enjoy blogging- why is doing it once a week sometimes so difficult? (I could insert my excuses here but re-reading Harry Potter just doesn't feel legit when I see it spelled out).
And sending out a newsletter every two months- that certainly is an attainable goal. But does it happen? Nope.
And posting something, anything to a social media type site once a day (rotating between FB, the twitts, and instaG- yes, that's what i'm calling them from now until tomorrow)- this should be easy- i'm on these sites quite a bit since I'm still nursing my little one (thank you iphone!).
What's the hold-up?! I think part of it is that I do not like when I follow someone on multiple platforms and the same messages just get bounced and forwarded around. I want to use each site in different ways and with minimal overlap. Also- do you really want to know the feelings of a muffin I ate? Actually, yes, yes you should want to know...bad example.
I'll hold off on some other revelations i'm having thanks to this course (maybe for next week's post?!). In the meantime, I'd love some e-couragement- comment, follow, share, like, heart, favorite, just do something to let me know you out there.
**The first person (or people- I may have written more than one pun!) to spot the pun(s) in this post, leave a comment below, and show a little e-couragement wins an 8x10 print of their choice from either of my shops!

i'm really horrible at puns...i've literally read this 10 times and i still don't get it. me= not so smart, but a kv fan nonetheless;)
ok - the muffin top IG photo is clearly a pun, but not in the post. does that count?
Dang it I've read this like 6 times and can't spot one. I think I need help from your tone of voice :)
Talia- unfortunately the muffin top one isn't really a pun. I haven't made it easy- one is really quite subtle and I think there's one that could be considered a homophonic pun.
I'm not saying they are GOOD puns- but i wanted to do a giveaway!
Is it the twits who are on the "twitts"? (In case you're wondering who this random person is, you did the flowers for my wedding a couple of years ago, and I loved them (and your art - got a couple prints at home already!)) - Kathryn
Well, I'm holed up nursing my little one much of the day too. Don't know if hold-up/holed up is the pun you intended but I just ate way to many raisins to go to bed at my usual time and it makes everything funnier. I love punny humor. -J

Hi Kathryn! That was not my pun- perhaps an unintentional bit of social commentary. :) Thanks for keeping up on what I'm up to!
Hey J- that wasn't a pun I intended either- I'll have to remember this raisin trick though!
Or perhaps it's doing "it" once a week? Not sure if it's meant to be that kind of a blog post but just eat more raisins and reread...
hahaha J! definitely NOT that kind of post :) I'm going to have to give out some prizes for best guesses or perhaps one for "most raisins eaten while reading my blog"
OK folks- we had a winner for finding the pun here: "re-reading HARRY POTTER just doesn't feel legit when I see it SPELLED out."
That was my subtle one. wah wah.
I think there's still one in there
I love contests. I had another post going about cray-cray but now seeing the winner- it's just too strange to post! :)
